1. Definitions

The internet project https://www.arilan.kz (hereinafter – the URL, "we") takes the privacy of information belonging to its clients and users of the Arilan Energy application  (hereinafter – "you", "application users") seriously. We refer to personalized information as information containing personal data (for example: full name, login, or company name) of an application user, as well as information about actions performed by you within the Arilan Energy application.

2. Use of information

We use a specific application user's personalized information solely to provide them with quality services and to keep records of them. We do not disclose the personalized data of one application user to other application users. We never publish personalized information in open access or transfer it to third parties. Our company does not sell users' personal data obtained as a result of the services provided. The only exception is when the disclosure of such information to authorized government bodies is required by the current legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan. We publish and distribute only reports based on collected anonymous data. These reports do not contain information that would make it possible to identify the personalized data of service users. We also use anonymous data for internal analysis aimed at developing our products and services

The Arilan Energy application may contain links to other websites that are unrelated to our company and belong to third parties. We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of information posted on third-party websites, and we assume no obligations to preserve the confidentiality of information you leave on such websites.

4. Limitation of liability

We do everything possible to comply with this privacy policy; however, we cannot guarantee the safety of information in the event of factors beyond our control that result in the disclosure of information. The Arilan Energy application and all information posted on it are provided on an "as is" basis without any warranties. We are not liable for adverse consequences or for any losses caused by restricted access to the application  or by visiting the site and using the information posted on it.

Payments. Online payment by bank card

Our Arilan Energy application is connected to an online payment gateway, and you can pay for the Service with a Visa or Mastercard bank card. After  selecting the field to top up your balance, a secure window will open with the payment page of ForteBank JSC, where you will need to enter your bank card details. The 3-D Secure protocol is used for additional cardholder authentication. If your issuing bank supports this technology, you will be redirected to its server for additional identification. Please check with the bank that issued your card for information on the rules and methods of additional identification.

The online payment service is carried out in accordance with the rules of the international Visa and MasterCard payment systems, based on the principles of confidentiality and payment security, using the most up-to-date methods of verification, encryption, and data transmission over closed communication channels. Bank card data is entered in a secure window on the payment page of ForteBank JSC.

On the payment page you are required to enter the card number, cardholder name, expiration date, and the three-digit security code (CVV2 for VISA or CVC2 for MasterCard). All the necessary data is printed on the surface of the bank card.

CVV2/CVC2 is a three-digit security code located on the back of the card.

Next, in the same window, your issuing bank's page will open for entering the 3-D Secure code. If you do not have a static 3-D Secure code set up, it will be sent to your phone number via SMS. If you do not receive the 3-D Secure code, please contact your issuing bank.

3-D Secure is the most advanced technology for ensuring the security of card payments over the internet. It makes it possible to reliably verify the identity of the cardholder performing the transaction and to minimize the risk of fraudulent card transactions.

Security guarantees

ForteBank JSC protects and processes your bank card data in accordance with the PCI DSS 3.0 security standard. Information is transmitted to the payment gateway using SSL encryption technology. Further transmission of information takes place over closed banking networks with the highest level of reliability. ForteBank JSC does not transfer your card data to us or to any other third parties. The 3-D Secure protocol is used for additional cardholder authentication.

Security of online payments

The personal information you provide (name, address, phone number, e-mail, credit card number) is confidential and will not be disclosed. Your credit card data is transmitted only in encrypted form and is not stored on our web server.

The security of internet payment processing is guaranteed by ForteBank JSC. All transactions with payment cards are carried out in accordance with the requirements of VISA International, MasterCard, and other payment systems. Specialized security technologies for online card payments are used when transmitting information, and data processing takes place on the secure, high-tech server of the processing company.

Paying by payment card is safe because:

• The authorization system guarantees the buyer that their payment card details (number, expiration date, CVV2/CVC2) will not fall into the hands of fraudsters, since this data is not stored on the authorization server and cannot be stolen.
• The buyer enters their payment details directly into ForteBank JSC's authorization system rather than on the online store's website, so the buyer's card details will not be accessible to third parties.

Refunds

When making an online payment by payment card, cash refunds are not permitted. The refund procedure is governed by the rules of international payment systems.

To have funds refunded to a bank card, you must complete a "Refund Application," which is sent to your email address upon request from the company, and send it along with a copy of an identity document to info@arilan.kz.

The refund will be made to the bank card within 7 business days from the date the Company receives the "Refund Application."

To obtain a refund for transactions carried out in error, you must submit a written application together with a copy of an identity document and receipts confirming the erroneous charge. This application must be sent to info@arilan.kz.

The refund amount will be equal to the amount of the balance top-up. The period for reviewing the Application and issuing the refund begins from the moment the Company receives the Application and is calculated in business days, excluding public holidays/weekends.

Cases of payment refusal

• the bank card is not intended for making payments over the internet, which you can find out by contacting your issuing bank;
• insufficient funds on the bank card to make the payment. You can find out more about the funds available on the payment card by contacting the bank that issued the card;
• the bank card details were entered incorrectly;
• the bank card has expired. The card's expiration date is usually indicated on the front of the card (the month and year through which the card is valid). You can find out more about the card's expiration date by contacting the issuing bank.
